Born and raised in China, Bo has spent 20 years in Europe, and worked in both large international and entrepreneurial firms in France and the UK. Bo is passionate in putting her multi-lingual, multi-cultural skills and strong networks to build the bridge between Asia and Europe in the fund management industry.

Bo has 15 years of investment experience spanning across active equity analysis, fund selection and portfolio management in UK and France with deep knowledge covering fund selection practices in both consultancy worlds and wholesale channels. Until recently, she was Head of Research at a fast-growing multi-boutique investment and distribution platform where she led the identification of minority acquisition targets in independent investment companies for development of new Partnerships. She also ran regular training workshops to the sales teams in Continental Europe on the Partners’ products.

Previously, she was portfolio manager of multi-asset multi-manager funds (£5bn AUM portfolio) at a top wealth manager in the UK. Before that, she was senior research analyst at a leading UK investment consultancy firm focusing on researching and recommending highly active, fundamental-driven managers to institutional clients. She has a keen interest in ESG related topics and development, having managed an ethical fund of fund (£200 mn AUM), reviewed the exclusion and inclusion approaches from ESG oriented funds, allocated capital to c20 ESG and impact related funds in clients’ portfolios.
